The International Museum of Ghanaian History and Culture is a conceptual design that uses a space within the University of Ghana campus as its site. The purpose of this museum is to remind and educate visitors about Ghana’s historical roots as well as provoke them so that they think about the possibilities the future holds for Ghana.
The function has been carefully considered to ensure visitors are taken on a journey through pre-colonial Ghana, the peaceful independence from colonial rule and then onto modern day Ghana. Each section is designed to evoke a variety of emotions from guests, however everyone should emerge with a sense of hope for the future and pride in what an amazing country Ghana truly is.
